President & CEO
Kaveh Amiri
Mr. Amiri has more than 30 years of professional experience with a solid technical background coupled with in-depth commercial knowledge of the telecom and IT industries. He has held leading technical, product management and marketing positions in some of the pioneers of the telecom industry, including Telenet, Sprint International, Alcatel Data Networks, Cable and Wireless, Global One (now Orange), Lucent Technologies, and Juniper Networks. Mr. Amiri has been helping corporations win many Must-Win proposals since 2003. He was actively involved in the largest two telecommunications IDIQs to date: GSA Networx Universal and Enterprise, with a combined ceiling contract value of more than $60 Billion – resulting in a win for AT&T Government Solutions, multiple Task Order awards for CenturyLink, and GSA NS2020 Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) for Level 3 Communications, with a ceiling contract value of $50 Billion. He graduated from University of London (Chelsea College of Science & Technology) with a B.S. degree in Electronics.

Bob Boehm
Mr. Boehm is President and CEO of Cassody Company, providing human capital consulting, program management, recruiting, systems development, training, compensation, executive coaching, employee communications, branding, employee relations and strategic human capital planning. He brings more than 30 years of experience to the Advisory Board.
Prior to establishing Cassody Company, Mr. Boehm was part of the executive team at CACI, serving as the Chief HR Officer. During his 6 years at CACI his team was integral to CACI’s record-breaking growth and customer satisfaction. Named “Best Recruiting Team of the Country” in 2011 and 2012 by ERE punctuated CACI’s Best Practices approach and supported their strategy to grow by $2B. Mr. Boehm held a number of executive positions prior to CACI, including VP of Human Capital with STG where he helped to lead the company to achieve the CMMI Level 3 rating for software and systems engineering excellence, and senior positions with General Electric/GE Capital, BaaN Company, Valero Energy, Government Technology Services Inc. and Unisys. Mr. Boehm holds a BS from the University of West Florida and is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Lois Gannon
Ms. Gannon brings more than 30 years of experience to the Advisory Board. She has an extensive telecommunications background including leadership and executive positions in marketing, sales, product management and a stellar track record building and leading teams to win federal government business. Ms. Gannon’s experience includes Senior Vice President at AOC Key Solutions, Director of Federal Government Accounts at Level 3 Communications, Vice President of Large Accounts at Winstar Communications, and Assistant Vice President of Federal Business markets at AT&T. Ms. Gannon holds a double major in English and Philosophy at Boston College and was selected by AT&T to attend Columbia University’s MBA program.
Stan Dorsey
Mr. Dorsey brings more than 30 years of proven accomplishments to the Advisory Board. He had a distinguished career at Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), with responsibilities for the design, development, acquisition, implementation, and operations of many significant DISN and GIG networks and systems worldwide. This experience is complemented by 12 years of commercial industry, government contracting, management and engineering, with a continuing focus on supporting DISA, DoD and the MILDEPS. Mr. Dorsey is highly regarded for strong relationships, understanding, and working with DISA, DoD, MILDEPS, and other Federal government customers. He holds an M.S. in Information Technology from George Washington University and a BSEE from University of Virginia.
Dave Markiewicz
Mr. Markiewicz has more than 30 years of experience in engineering, marketing, and strategic sales management. His experience includes deep integration of technical and business acumen having performed as a DOD systems engineer, DISA account executive, senior network architect, field marketing engineer, strategic capture manager, and proposal project leader. His large company experience includes: GTE Government Systems, Nortel Networks, Level 3 Communications, Harris IT Services, and TASC. Mr. Markiewicz has successfully managed large, complex bids for DOD and Civilian agencies. He has led and contributed to multiple corporate wins, successfully capturing business in both the public and private sectors totaling more than $1B in contract value. Mr. Markiewicz earned a B.S. Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
Proposal Development Team
Our proposal development team consists of the following labor categories.
Proposal Managers
Responsible for managing the proposal lifecycle towards a WIN and making sure that this is done in an efficient manner, keeping the team cohesiveness and last but not least making sure that the team keeps its sense of humor all the way to proposal submission.
Proposal Coordinators
Worth their weight in Gold – make that Platinum! – for helping the Proposal Manager with administrative proposal duties. Many of our Proposal Coordinators also have Desktop Publishing credentials, helping to reduce your proposal development costs.
Volume Leads
Responsible for making sure that their Volume (Technical, Management, Business, Price, or other based on the specific RFP) is compliant, compelling, and delivered on-schedule.
Technical Writers
Many of them subject matter experts (SMEs) in their fields, Technical Writers interview your subject matter experts (SMEs), ask the right questions, and ensure that the proposal conveys the technical solution in an accurate manner, “answers the mail” but at the same time is clearly understood by proposal evaluators who may not have necessary technical expertise in the field.
Graphic Artists
Experts in their craft, our graphics artists are also “conceptual” artists. They will interview technical writers and translate the most complicated concepts into art that will clearly convey the message in a few seconds.
Editors
With a keen eye for detail, our editors will ensure perfect grammar, one-voicing, definition of acronyms at first occurrence, and compilation of glossaries. The degree of editing can be dialed up (heavy editing) or down (light editing) by the client on a case-by-case basis.
Desktop Publishers
Ensure that solicitation instructions regarding the format of the proposal are strictly followed. They design writing templates and assist in document management and color reviews during the proposal cycle. Note that many of our Desktop Publishers also have Proposal Coordinator credentials, helping to reduce your proposal development costs.
Pricing Analysts
Whether Price-to-Win or laborious price entries of CLINs (Contract Line Item Numbers) and detailed analyses are needed, Platinum Proposals Group has the right type of expertise to help you with your Pricing Volume.
Production Specialists
Responsible for hardcopy (e.g. printed and bound material) and/or softcopy (e.g. CDs) production as specified in the solicitation instructions. We normally include this labor category with one of the other labor categories. Many of our Proposal Coordinators, Desktop Publishers, and Graphics Artists already possess this expertise and have extensive production experience.
Subject Matter Experts (SME)
Our SMEs are available in many fields, including telecommunications, information technology, cybersecurity, and program management. They can be deployed throughout the proposal development lifecycle to help with your technical solution – or deployed during color reviews to validate your technical design and provide objective, unbiased, action-able, feedback.
